We're all a bit stir crazy after Jonas, and with this gorgeous weather, we should definitely be out and about! Here are our picks for the last few days of January (can you believe how quickly it has flown by?!)..

Treats & Eats

1. If you don't already know about Michael Psilakis's Williamsburg location, you should for a few reasons - excellent food, amazing cocktail and beer selection, and their newest venture, The Hall at MP, next door. The Hall hosts a range of music acts throughout the week and serves up Greek treats and cocktails on tap, like a Jalisco Mule and Cucumber Gimlet. This weekend, they're kicking off Mardi Gras with a Crawfish Boil and Black Tie Brass band performing. "The seven-piece incorporates rock and hip-hop into its sound..creating a fresh chemistry that will keep you coming back for more." says Queens Tribune.

2. Another under-the-radar happening in Williamsburg is Diviera's Winter Fondue Chalet, serving up fondue (house cheese, wild mushroom, and white truffle) through the end of March. Walk through the Italian grocery and restaurant, into the the seasonal pop-up. "Located on Berry Street and tucked away from the bustle of Bedford, the 40-seater “chalet” does its best to transport diners to the Alps with the requisite red-and-white tablecloths and vintage ski posters." says Kavitha Surana of Bedford + Bowery.

Sights & Sounds

1. This Saturday is the seventh installment of the Beer Bourbon & BBQ Festival at The Tunnel in Manhattan. "Get ready to enjoy all those pleasures that true Southerners live by - Beer, Bourbon, Barbeque, Bacon, and Bluegrass! It's a great day of beer sippin', bourbon tastin', music listenin', cigar smokin', and barbeque eatin". Admission buys you perks like a sampling glass so you can enjoy an samplings of beer and bourbon & food tastings from their own "pit masters / chefs as well as some of NYC’s finest BBQ and southern cuisine restaurants." Grab your ticket quick, cause they are selling fast!

2. All weekend "The Winter Antiques Show marks its 62nd year as the most prestigious art, antiques, and design fair in America, featuring the “best of the best” from Antiquity through the present. Held at the historic Park Avenue Armory in New York City, the Show provides new and established collectors, curators, dealers, and design professionals with opportunities to view and purchase exceptional pieces showcased by 73 exhibitors. One-third of the Show’s exhibitors are specialists in Americana, with the rest featuring English, European, and Asian fine and decorative arts."
